Some advice on the boater
The French canotier is made of straw in a traditional way, which gives it a very rigid set. In addition, it is a hat that does not sink like a classic hat because its cap is shallow even if it sinks better than an Olney boater which is often just placed on top of the head. Finally, this model of boater does not have an interior comfort band. The head reducer is thus essential to make it more comfortable and to fix it well on the head (not provided with the boater).
