Homburg Hat

Homburg Hat

The Homburg shape is one of the oldest in formal classic style.

Traditionally made of wool felt or fur felt, this hat is adorned with a very stylish grosgrain ribbon. The brims are stiff and turned up all around.

The Homburg hat was previously as popular as Fedoras across Europe and America. Having become famous in the 1900s after Edward VII's visit to Bad Homburg, Germany, it remained important in European fashion. It can be seen on many famous heads, notably British comedian Tony Hancock who used the hat as his signature.

Once used to recognize the elite, this headwear was adopted by several mafia bosses. In America, the film The Godfather gave it a new lease of life and greatly contributed to its success.

The Homburg hat has remained at the forefront of men's fashion accessories, with Hip Hop stars like P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, and Notorious BIG adopting it for their wardrobe.

Worn with a tuxedo, it will give you incredible class!
