Homburg hat

Homburg hat

The Homburg shape is one of the oldest in the formal classical style.

Traditionally made from wool felt or hair felt, this hat is adorned with a chic grosgrain ribbon. The brims are stiff and raised all around.

Once as popular as Fedoras across Europe and America, the Homburg hat became famous in the 1900s after Edward VII visited Bad Homburg, Germany, and has remained an important part of European fashion. It can be found on many famous faces, including British comedian Tony Hancock, who used the hat as his signature look.

Once used to identify the elite, this headgear was adopted by several mafia bosses. In America, the film The Godfather gave it a second lease of life and contributed greatly to its success.

The Homburg hat has remained at the forefront of men's fashion accessories, with Hip Hop stars like P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, and the Notorious BIG adopting it for their wardrobes.

Worn with a tuxedo, it'll make you look like a real class act!
