History of the dekker hat name:
Named after ska genius Desmond Dekker, also known as the 'King of SKA', Desmond Dekker (real name Desmond Adolphus Dacres) was a reggae and ska singer and songwriter. He often wore the woolly monty beret, but also a trilby hat with a tiny brim like the Dekker.
