This hat is a real badass. The TMH55 models, made from recycled fabric, nevertheless have the soft look of linen. Made in Canada. This hat has a wide brim, made from soft yet robust hemp fabric.

A unique hat with UPF 50+ sun protection fabric blend is paired with 3/4" mesh to ensure our Mash-Up AIRFLO® Hat brim is ideal for hot, sunny climates .

Tilley TMH55 hat

Tilley's classic brim chef's hat is based on the popular T5, the recycled fabric hat is similar to the TH5 but has a wider brim curved at the front and back to protect you from the sun and rain.
The coucre chef is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.
Fabric: 29% hemp, 28% organic cotton, 36% recycled polyester, 7% rayon

How to tell if the hat fits properly

The Tilley hat is the most comfortable hat available. It's designed to be worn low and not too tight.
It stays in place by gravity, not by constricting the head. There should be enough space between the front of the hat and the forehead to easily slide two fingers flat against it.
You should be able to turn the hat from left to right and from front to back without feeling any friction on your forehead. When it's windy, use the cord!
You'll certainly appreciate this feature, especially in hot, humid weather.
It's best to go up a size for this. After that, if you want the hat to really fit on your head, you can take any size you like.
