The Panama cap legend
Since 1630, Ecuadorian hats have covered the heads of many famous men such as Napoleon, Winston Churchill, Nikita Krutchev, Harry Truman, Paul Newman...
In 1906, Theodore Roosvelt wore a Panama hat when he visited the construction of the Panama Canal. His photograph was taken around the world, and helped spread the word about "the Panama hat".
It takes a craftsman between a week and six months to make a Panama hat, depending on the finesse of the work and the thickness selected, using only the finest "toquilla" straw fibers from the "Caludovica Palmata" tree.

Un bijou de petit Panama ! Très féminin et facile à porter, soit pour faire le marché sous le soleil, soit pour la promenade, soit pour une cérémonie. Prix plus que correct pour la qualité du produit. Je suis ravie et le recommande à toute femme soucieuse de son élégance : j'ai 74 ans (presque) mais il convient à tout âge
