This model of Alpine-shaped beret was manufactured before the industrialization of berets until the beginning of the 20th century.
This headgear was discontinued because it was very difficult to mass-produce, since it was impossible to store it between production stages without causing unsightly creases and marks.
Only Manufacture de béret offers this model, which is a pity because it's extremely comfortable to wear and, above all, the size is adjusted by means of a "liguette" passed through the hem of the beret.
How to adjust your alpine hunter beret to your head size
