Genuine brown Pakol handmade in Pakistan, an embroidered model for women
Women's Pakol Embroidered Wool Brown - Traclet
Pakol Massoud hat in 100% wool for men and women. Genuine Pakol from Afghanistan. The pakol is used by the freedom fighters of Afghanistan; this hat, as we have seen in the media, is widely worn there. Traditional wool hat. The wearer rolls the base of the hat to create the desired fit and pattern. Color: slight variations of tan/camel/light brown depending on dye spell. Size: one size fits all (like a woman's beret) extends over her head and is modified by rolling. It keeps the head warm, wears comfortably and easily to shapes you direct.
The Pakol is an Afghan men's hat, a head covering with rounded tops. Women don't usually wear Pakol hats, but if you see one, it's usually an embroidered one. Before you put it on your head, it looks like a bag with a round, flat bottom. The wearer rolls up the sides almost to the top, forming a thick band which then rests on the head like a beret or hat. The most popular pakol wearer was the Afghan rebel commander Ahmad Shah Massoud, who fought against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan (1979-1989).
