These short black rib knit socks are made from high quality silk of controlled origin. They are specifically knitted with a non-compressive ribbing to fit your legs in all circumstances. The overlocking of the ribbing accentuates this delicate, feminine look.

Silk is an air-conditioning material: socks are cool and light in summer and warm in winter. They are soft, velvety to the touch and particularly comfortable.

Hand-tied without seams, this finish is particularly meticulous and appreciated. As the silk used is particularly sensitive to rubbing, the heel and toe are reinforced with an additional thread of Scottish yarn, resulting in a sturdy product and considerably increased longevity.

Inscriptions "Soie" at the toe and "Berthe Aux Grands Pieds" under the foot are knitted directly into the sock.
