These colorful Berthe Aux Grands Pieds heel and toe knee-highs are fully woven with Lycra and knitted with a non-compressive ribbed hem.

With a high shaft that reaches below the knee, they'll sit perfectly on your legs without compressing them. These knee-highs are made from high-quality, colorful silk of controlled origin.

Fantastic, this material is said to be air-conditioning: the socks are cool and light in summer and warm in winter. So you can wear them to your heart's content all year round! Hand-tied without seams, this finish is particularly meticulous and appreciated.

The heel and toe are reinforced with a highly resistant Nylon foam thread, making for a sturdy product and considerably increasing its lifespan. These knee-highs are also knitted in progressive tightness, ensuring a perfect fit between calf and ankle when worn.

As the silk used is sensitive to friction, the heel tops are reinforced to prevent any contact between the silk and the shoe counter. The knit is worked in a honeycomb pattern with alternating vertical stripes, adding transparency.
