The Nylamtium (170Gr/m² in double thickness) that makes up the hat is crafted from snag-proof Supplex nylon canvas, highly resistant, water-repellent, lightweight, and quick-drying. It's a lifetime guaranteed hat against wear! The remarkable lightness of this hat combined with a 3/4-inch ventilation mesh at the top of the crown offers great comfort in hot weather and protects against sunstroke! Moreover, this Tilley LTM6 hat, like other Tilley hats, has a maximum sun protection factor of UPF 50+.

You'll surely appreciate this feature, especially in hot and humid weather. When buying a Tilley hat, you should choose one size larger than your usual size. Indeed, gravity is what keeps the hat in place! There should be enough space between the front of the hat and your forehead to easily slide two fingers. Similarly, you should be able to pivot the hat from left to right and tilt it from front to back without feeling any friction on your forehead.
