The Nylamtium (170Gr/m² double layer) that makes up the hat is crafted from Supplex nylon canvas that's snag-proof, highly resistant, water-repellent, lightweight and quick-drying. It's a lifetime guaranteed hat against wear! The remarkable lightness of this hat combined with a 3/4 inch ventilation mesh on top of the crown offers great comfort in hot weather and protects against sunstroke! Moreover, this Tilley LTM6 hat, like other Tilley hats, has a maximum sun protection rating of UPF 50+.

Tilley hats are designed for maximum comfort! That's why it's very important that they fit your size properly. A Tilley hat should be worn low and not too tight. You'll surely appreciate this feature, especially in hot and humid weather. When buying a Tilley hat, you should go one size up from your usual size. Indeed, gravity is what keeps the hat in place! There should be enough space between the front of the hat and your forehead to easily slip two fingers through. Similarly, you should be able to pivot the hat from left to right and tilt it back and forth without feeling any friction on your forehead.
