Moreover, this Tilley LTM6 hat, like other Tilley hats, has a maximum sun protection index of UPF 50+.

It's also a hat that effectively shelters you from rain thanks to polyester and cotton threads that swell when wet, ensuring total waterproofing. Finally, it's a hat that doesn't get lost thanks to its chin cord and high buoyancy.

How to know if your Tilley hat fits well?

Tilley hats are designed for maximum comfort! That's why it's very important that they fit your size well. A Tilley hat should be worn low and not too tight. You'll surely appreciate this feature, especially in hot and humid weather. When buying a Tilley hat, you should choose one size larger than your usual size. Indeed, it's gravity that keeps the hat on! There should be enough space between the front of the hat and the forehead to easily slip two fingers. Similarly, you should be able to pivot the hat from left to right and tilt it from front to back without feeling any friction on your forehead.
