LTM5 AIRFLO® White Hat - Tilley

LTM5 AIRFLO® White Hat - Tilley

The LTM5 Airflo is designed to equip adventurers: its exceptional lightness combined with its unparalleled durability make it an all-terrain hat that will effectively protect travelers.

The Nylamtium (170g/m² double layer) that makes up the hat is crafted from a snag-resistant, highly durable, water-repellent, lightweight, and quick-drying Supplex nylon fabric. It's a hat with a lifetime guarantee against wear!

The remarkable lightness of this hat combined with a 3/4-inch ventilation mesh on the top of the crown offers you great comfort in hot weather and protects you from sunstroke! Moreover, this Tilley LTM5 hat, like other Tilley hats, has a maximum sun protection factor of UPF 50+.

Finally, the underside of the hat now matches the hat.

It's also a hat that effectively shelters you from rain thanks to the polyester and cotton threads that swell when wet, ensuring total waterproofing.

Finally, it's a hat that doesn't get lost thanks to its tether cord and high buoyancy.

Be careful when choosing your size: Tilley advises always taking one to two sizes above your usual size to keep the hat wide enough for sweat to easily evaporate, thus keeping your head well-ventilated.

How to know if your Tilley hat fits well?

Tilley hats are designed for maximum comfort! That's why it's very important that they are well-adjusted to your size.

A Tilley hat should be worn low and not too tight. You'll surely appreciate this feature, especially in hot and humid weather. When buying a Tilley hat, you should choose a size larger than your usual size.

Indeed, it's gravity that keeps the hat on! There should be enough space between the front of the hat and the forehead to easily slip two fingers. Similarly, you should be able to pivot the hat from left to right and tilt it from front to back without feeling any friction on your forehead.
