The Nylamtium (170g/m² in double thickness) that makes up the hat is crafted from a snag-proof Supplex nylon fabric, very durable, water-repellent, lightweight, and quick-drying. It's a hat with a lifetime guarantee against wear! The remarkable lightness of this hat combined with a 3/4-inch ventilation mesh on top of the crown offers you a lot of comfort during hot weather and protects you from sunstroke! Moreover, this Tilley LTM6 hat, like other Tilley hats, has a maximum sun protection index of UPF 50+.
