The Nylamtium (170Gr/m² double layer) that makes up the hat is made from a run-resistant Supplex nylon fabric, very durable, water-repellent, lightweight and quick-drying. It's a hat guaranteed for life against wear!
The remarkable lightness of this hat combined with a 3/4 inch ventilation mesh on the top of the crown offers you great comfort in high heat and protects you from sunstroke! Moreover, this Tilley LTM5 hat, like other Tilley hats, has a maximum sun protection rating of UPF 50+. Finally, the underside of the hat is darker to reduce glare.
It is also a hat that effectively shelters you from the rain thanks to the polyester and cotton threads that swell in case of humidity and ensure total waterproofing.
