The Nylamtium (170g/m² in double thickness) that makes up the hat is crafted from a snag-proof, highly resistant, water-repellent, lightweight, and quick-drying Supplex nylon fabric. It's a hat with a lifetime guarantee against wear!
The remarkable lightness of this hat combined with a 3/4-inch ventilation mesh on top of the crown offers you great comfort in hot weather and protects you from sunstroke!
Moreover, like all Tilley models, this hat has a maximum sun protection factor of UPF 50+.
It's also a UV 50+ hat that effectively shelters you from rain thanks to polyester and cotton threads that swell when wet, ensuring total waterproofing. A hat that won't get lost, thanks to its chin cord and high buoyancy.

How to know if your Tilley hat fits well?
Tilley hats are designed for maximum comfort! That's why it's very important that they fit your size well. They should be worn low and not too tight. You'll surely appreciate this feature, especially in hot and humid weather. When buying a Tilley hat, you should choose one size larger than your usual size.
Indeed, it's gravity that makes the hat stay on! There should be enough space between the front of the hat and the forehead to easily slip two fingers in. Likewise, you should be able to pivot the hat from left to right and tilt it from front to back without feeling any friction on your forehead.

Chapeau Tilley vraiment d’excellente qualité très bien stylé, très agréable à porter , bien aéré nous n’avons pas l’impression d’avoir la tête comme une cocotte minute quand il fait chaud !! Et chaud quand les températures sont froides , je le conseille vivement
