This hat is a true "tough guy". The TMH55 models made from recycled fabric still have the soft appearance of linen. Made in Canada. This hat features a wide brim, made from soft yet sturdy hemp fabric.

A unique hat with UPF 50+ fabric blend sun protection is paired with 3/4" mesh to ensure our intermediate brim Mash-Up AIRFLO® Hat is ideal for hot and sunny climates.

Tilley TMH55 Hat

Classic brimmed headwear from Tilley that is designed based on the popular T5, the recycled fabric hat is similar to the TH5 but has a wider brim curved at the front and back for better protection from sun and rain.
The headwear is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.

How to know if the hat fits well

The Tilley hat is the most comfortable hat there is. It is designed to be worn low and not too tight.
It stays in place by gravity, not because it squeezes the head. There should be enough space between the front of the hat and the forehead to easily slip two fingers flat.
You should be able to rotate the hat from left to right and tilt it from front to back without feeling friction on your forehead. When it's windy, use the cord!
You'll surely appreciate this feature, especially in hot and humid weather.
For this reason, it is advisable to go up one size. However, if you want the hat to really stay on your head, you can take your actual size.
