Kangol

Created in 1938, Kangol initially began by selling berets, presented as a must-have fashion item in the post-war period. To differentiate itself from the competition, the company's founder chose to use Kangol as the brand name. The most widely accepted theory is that the founder combined the K from "knitting", the ANG from "angora", and OL from "wool". Whatever its origin, the chosen name was an inspired invention. It was really from equipping the British army with berets during World War II (and particularly for General Montgomery) that the brand gained its notoriety. The Kangol brand produces a wide range of headwear, from berets to caps to beanies. Its unique style and famous kangaroo logo are known and recognized worldwide. Kangol merges British tradition with urban hip hop mixed with modernity, for a casual or sportswear look for any occasion!
