The Monty beret was the favorite beret of Sir Bernard Shaw Montgomery, famous for his military exploits during both World Wars. Monty was the nickname given to Montgomery following his victory over the Germans in North Africa in 1942.
The Monty military beret differs from the Che Guevara beret with its wider plateau, giving it this remarkable side tilt.
