The features that differentiate it from the LTM5 are: a taller cap and wider brim for increased face coverage. It's a sun hat with exceptional lightness and resistance.
The Nylamtium (170Gr/m² double-layer) that makes up the hat is made from a tough, water-repellent, lightweight, quick-drying Supplex nylon fabric. It's a hat guaranteed for life against wear and tear!
The remarkable lightness of this hat, combined with a 3/4" ventilation mesh at the top of the skullcap, will keep you comfortable in hot weather and protect you from sunstroke!
This Tilley LTM6 hat, like all Tilley hats, has a maximum sun protection factor of UPF 50+.
It's also a hat that provides effective protection from the rain, thanks to polyester and cotton yarns that swell in damp conditions and ensure total waterproofing. And it's a hat that won't get lost, thanks to its drawstring and great flotation.
Take care when choosing your size: Tilley advises you to always go one or two sizes up on your classic size, to keep your hat wide enough to allow perspiration to evacuate easily, so your head stays well-ventilated.

Tilley hats are designed for maximum comfort! A Tilley hat should be worn low and not too tight. You're sure to appreciate this feature, especially in hot, humid weather. When buying a tilley hat, you need to go one size up from your usual size, becausegravity is what holds the hat on! Thereneeds to be enough space between the front of the hat and the forehead for two fingers to slip through easily. You should also be able to turn the hat from left to right and from front to back without feeling any friction on your forehead .

Chapeau conforme à la description et à mon attente. Taille conforme aux recommandations, couleur, texture. Reste à l’essayer sous le soleil de l’île Maurice prochainement ! Une tache est malheureusement à déplorer sur le dessus, j’espère qu’elle partira au premier lavage.
