Originally, the Mounted Police Hat was created in the 19th century by John B. STETSON (USA), it was preferred over the white colonial helmet by Canadian Mounted Police units sent to South Africa, which distinguished them from other colonial units still wearing the colonial helmet. In 1903, it was officially adopted by the Canadian Mounted Police. In 1907, it also became the official hat of the Scout movement. Made to order with a delivery time of 2/5 weeks.
