How to clean your Campan beret
Machine washing is excluded, hand washing is discouraged, dry cleaning such as with trichloroethylene is preferable.
In case of stains, blot with absorbent paper and clean the Basque beret with a soft brush or natural sponge soaked in lukewarm slightly soapy water, avoiding excessive wetting of the beret and the leather edge.
Then, let the beret dry at room temperature and finish with gentle brushing.
How to brush and dust it
Felted Merino wool is a material with exceptional qualities, however it easily captures dust, textile fibers and animal hair. We therefore recommend using an adhesive textile brush.
