How to clean your Campan beret
Machine washing is not permitted, hand washing is not recommended; dry cleaning such as with trichloroethylene is preferable.
In case of staining, blot with absorbent paper and clean the Basque beret with a soft brush or a natural sponge dampened with slightly soapy lukewarm water, avoiding soaking the beret and the leather edge excessively.
Then, leave the beret to dry at room temperature and finish with a gentle brushing.
How to brush and dust it
Felted Merino wool is a material with exceptional qualities, however it easily attracts dust, textile fibres and animal hair. We therefore recommend using an adhesive textile brush.
