This hat is made from genuine cowhide leather, which is easy to care for. Leather is a natural, breathable material, making classic sweatbands or anti-sweat linings unnecessary. The brim edges are reinforced; however, the hat remains fully crushable. The crown and top return to their original shape. This hat can be waterproofed with a spray or silicone sold at most saddleries. The crown can be flattened to store the hat flat.
