How to waterproof a felt hat?
In the case of a wool felt hat, most are not waterproof.
You always have the option of using a shoe waterproofing product like this Collonil spray. To do this, test it on the crown to ensure the waterproofing agent doesn't leave any stains. The crown is the top part of the hat, and in this case, for the test, do it on the inside of the crown.
When the test is successful, you can spray the hat from at least 20 cm away and let it dry without rubbing. This will make your headwear waterproof.

Usage instructions
We recommend spraying at least twice, from a distance of 20 centimeters.
Avoid the formation of droplets and never rub if the material is damp or wet.
Then, let your headwear dry at room temperature.
It is advisable to repeat the operation regularly so that the waterproofing remains constant.
However, be sure to do this regularly if you often use it in the rain.
