This hat comes from the steppes of Asia and the Caucasus, Afghanistan. Traditional cylindrical hat with rolled-up edges forming a bead, made of woollen cloth and worn mainly by the Pashtuns.

Pakol: a little history:
- Pakol originally comes from the Afghan-Pakistani border area around Nuristan and Chitral.
- Originally a Pashtun ethnic hat, it was made popular by the Northern Alliance and its leader Tajik Ahmad Shah Massoud.
