Authentic Legion Beret in green 100% wool. Officially attributed to the 1st BEP in 1948, this beret is still adorned with the insignia representing a feathered "dextrochère" holding a sword.
In 1957, this military headwear became the official headgear of all foreign parachutist regiments.
In 1959, the legion beret became the rest and exercise headwear for all Legion units.
