The 2-way hat stretcher preserves the crown's shape and keeps the hat straight and firm.

It can also be used to carefully stretch the leather to potentially make it half a size bigger.

An essential tool for storing or stretching your hat.

Made from sturdy and durable wood, it allows you to stretch hats and caps.

If you cannot keep your hat in a dry place, regular use of the stretcher will be beneficial.

For storing the hat

Place the stretcher in the hat
Expand the stretcher to obtain the desired size
Place the 2 wooden parts inside the hat at the label level. They should be parallel to the crease, in the crown of the hat
Squeeze the handle to adjust the hat stretcher to the size of the hat. Your headwear is ready to be stored without damage!

Repeat the previous steps.
Use a teapot/pot and boil clean water. Reduce the heat to have a constant steam flow.
Holding the hat stretcher by the handle, apply steam directly and uniformly to the crown.
Turn the screw to obtain the desired size while applying steam. Don't stretch the hat too much at once! 1/4 size is enough.
Let the hat dry for about 30 minutes before removing the stretcher. Repeat until the hat reaches the desired size.
