Ushanka originally comes from the Russian word, derived from the French "chapel", referring to a fur hat with flaps over the ears. This ushanka is made of 100% leather on the exterior, rabbit fur, and an interior lining made of 55% cotton, 30% polyester, and 15% wool; the rest is fur.
This ushanka has a snap button to fasten it either under the chin or on top to keep the ears warm or, alternatively, to leave them exposed.
