Its composition is similar to the English helmet; this hat is made from tree pith from northern Vietnam. This hat is particularly resistant to sun and weather conditions.
A bit of history: the manufacturing of these helmets was passed on to the Vietnamese over a hundred years ago by the French during the occupation. This colonial helmet model features the widest brim, measuring approximately 7cm, making it particularly practical for sun protection.
