This natural clay is extra fine and can absorb up to 80% of its weight in water. It was discovered near Montpellier in the small village of Sommières in the early 19th century.
Be careful not to use it wet or on a wet surface.
How and why do we use the "terre de Sommières"?
Firstly from an ecological point of view. Indeed, trichlo is no longer used because it causes diseases. And secondly, this product is effective on many surfaces and not only on hats
You have just made a stain of fat or red wine? The earth of Sommières is the solution!
It allows you to remove greasy stains (butter, gasoline, oil, make-up...) as well as fragile surfaces (textiles, upholstery, carpets, leather, marble, wood...) impregnated with wine or organic matter, without leaving a ring.
Without treatment or refining, this earth is non-toxic for humans and the environment.
How to use it
Sprinkle generously with Terre de Sommières all the stained area to cover it well. Leave it on for several hours or even overnight for stubborn stains.
Then rub or brush delicately to remove the earth of Sommières and vacuum to remove the surplus.
Its origin and composition
Natural clay bentonite 100% pure, 100% natural origin, very fine.
