How to rent your hat

1 . purpose of the rental
The rental of a hat entitles the hirer to make normal use of the item loaned. The article must be returned in the same condition as it was rented: when signing the rental contract, the tenant ___________ and the lessor "Chapellerie Traclet" la Maison Traclet undertakes to supply a hat in new condition and it must be returned the rental in good condition.

2. rental rates
Rates are based on the following formulas:
- Week formula: rental from Tuesday to Tuesday at 25 euros (the return period must not exceed one week after use).
The following methods of payment are accepted: cash and cheques, credit card, paypal.
"Chapellerie Traclet" reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, subject to a 30-day notice period.

3. security deposit
A deposit is required for all rentals, and is essential before signing any contract. The deposit (by cheque only) is the amount of the new hat. The deposit cheque is not cashed; it is only kept by the "Chapellerie Traclet" company as a guarantee for the items rented. The deposit is refunded when the item is returned and declared undamaged by " Chapellerie Traclet " or the dry cleaner.
In the event of visible stains, damage to ornaments or perfume residues, "La Chapellerie Traclet" will pay a flat-rate cleaning fee of 15 euros. You also have the option of having the item cleaned by a specialized dry cleaner at your own expense.
In the absence of a dispute, " la Chapellerie Tarclet " must, within three working days following the return of the items, return the deposit with your payment.

4 - Guarantor's liability for damages
In the event of irreparable damage during rental, rendering the hat unusable as such, " la Chapellerie Traclet " will be obliged to cash the full deposit corresponding to the damaged item. If the damage is less extensive and can be repaired, " la Chapellerie Tarclet " and the hat hirer will agree on the amount of the deposit retained by " la Chapellerie Traclet ", on the basis of an estimate from professionals drawn up by each of the parties (seamstresses, dry cleaners, etc.).

5. delays
Penalties will be deducted for each day of delay. These penalties will be deducted from the security deposit in the amount of 2 euros (incl. VAT) per item and per day of delay, from the first working day following the agreed return date.

6. item handling
Under no circumstances may items be modified in any way. Sewing is forbidden. The use of safety pins or similar items is tolerated, provided they do not damage the hat in any way; in the case of sensitive fabrics such as silk, organza, hemp, etc., the use of pins or needles is forbidden.
