English-style colonial helmet
This Victorian-style colonial helmet is a faithful reproduction of the helmet worn by English colonists. It is characterized by its form, the sun protection it provides and its resistance to the elements. The British colonial helmet is made from trees growing in northern Vietnam. The manufacturing process for this helmet was originally passed on to the French colonists by the Vietnamese some one hundred years ago, during the occupation of the country.
"Dr. Livingston, I presume?" This model of colonial khaki helmet (also known as the "British Colonial Helmet") is widely associated with the history of foreign affairs and the British colonies. This men's headgear is made from trees grown in northern Vietnam. The material of this helmet is particularly resistant to sun and weather; this type of hat may soften slightly with humidity, but will return to its original shape as it dries. The Vietnamese learned how to make colonial helmets a hundred years ago, during the French colonial period.
An air vent keeps the head cool.
This tropical helmet is adjustable around the head and fastened with a chinstrap.
A headdress used by the British army during their conquests of South Africa. Made famous by the battle fought by the 24th Foot Regiment against the Zulu tribes at Mount Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift in 1879.
Warning: this hat may soften slightly with humidity, but will regain its shape as it dries. This is why it's important to get it back into shape when it dries. As Coloniaux hats are handcrafted, please note that they may have minor imperfections. These imperfections in no way detract from their quality, and only affect their appearance.

Parfait.
