British-style Colonial Helmet
This Victorian-style pith helmet is a faithful reproduction of the helmet worn by British colonists. It is characterized by its pointed shape, the sun protection it provides, and its resistance to bad weather. The British colonial helmet is made from trees that grow in northern Vietnam. The manufacturing process of this helmet was initially passed on to French colonists by the Vietnamese about a hundred years ago, during the country's occupation.
"Dr Livingston, I presume?" This khaki pith helmet model (also known as "British Colonial Helmet") is widely associated with the history of British foreign affairs and colonies. This men's headwear is made from trees grown in northern Vietnam. The material of this helmet is particularly resistant to sun and bad weather; this type of hat may slightly soften with humidity but will regain its initial shape when drying. The Vietnamese learned the manufacturing process of colonial helmets about a hundred years ago, during French colonization.
A ventilation chimney provides coolness to the head.
This tropical helmet is adjustable at the head size and fastens with a chin strap.
A headwear used by the British Army during their conquests in South Africa. Made famous during the 1879 battle fought by the "24th foot regiment" against the "Zulu" tribes at Mount Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift
Warning: this hat may slightly soften with humidity but will regain its shape when drying. This is why it must be properly reshaped while drying. Additionally, Colonial Helmets are handcrafted, please note that they may have minor imperfections. These imperfections do not affect their quality and only impact their appearance.
