Advice on maintaining your Bicorne hat
In case of heavy rain, we recommend keeping your headwear dry, or covering it with a waterproof protection.
This hat has been made from sheep's wool, and to give it this rigidity, we apply a very resistant sizing. However, it is not recommended to expose it to excessive humidity. Indeed, this will damage it with a high risk of deformation and alteration of the sizing.
Furthermore, it is strictly forbidden to put it in a washing machine or in a microwave to dry it quickly.
Finally, do not place it near a strong heat source or behind a car's rear window; there is a risk of shrinkage, making it impossible to place on your head.
Store your hat in a dry place, on a suitable support to avoid any deformation of the crown.
If you don't have a hat stand, store it flat on its back brim.
To clean it, you can use a hat or clothing brush in a counterclockwise direction and steam it to remove dust.

J'ai commandé un bicorne de Napoléon pour l'anniversaire de mon fils passionné par le personnage. Le chapeau a un aspect correct. Malheureusement la taille n'a absolument rien à voir avec les dimensions de l'original. Le bicorne est gigantesque, mesurant presque 60 cm alors que la longueur aurait du être comprise entre 44 et 47 cm maxi. Je suis vraiment déçue. Je vais le renvoyer et demander un remboursement. 240 euros pour cela, c'est vraiment inadmissible.

La longueur d'une extrémité d'une corne à l'autre fait environ 55cm alors d'aprés d'autres lectures la longueur réelle devrait faire entre 47 et 48cm. Pourquoi? Meme si ce bicorne est une réplique d'un chapeau se trouvant au musée de l'armée pouvez vous donner d'autres détails genre bataille etc... Merci
