These black short ribbed socks are made from high-quality silk of controlled origin. They are specifically knitted with a non-compressing ribbed edge to adjust to your legs in all circumstances. The ribbed edge overlock emphasizes this very delicate and feminine aspect.
Silk is known as a climate-regulating material: the socks are cool and light in summer and warm in winter. They are flexible, soft with a velvety touch and particularly comfortable.
Hand-linked seamlessly, this finishing is particularly refined and appreciated. As the silk used is particularly sensitive to friction, the heel and toe are reinforced with an additional Lisle thread, thus providing a sturdy product and considerably increasing its longevity.
"Silk" inscriptions at the toe and "Berthe Aux Grands Pieds" under the foot are knitted directly during sock manufacturing.
