This model of shaped beret was manufactured before the industrialization of the beret until the beginning of the 20th century.
This headgear was discontinued because it is very difficult to mass-produce, since it is impossible to store it between manufacturing stages without causing unsightly creases and marks.
Only Manufacture de béret offers this model, which is a pity because it's extremely comfortable to wear and, above all, the size is adjusted by means of a "liguette" passed through the hem of the beret.
How to adjust your beret to your head size
To adjust the universal beret, simply tighten or loosen the tie and tie a knot. You've probably noticed a small knot sewn into the edges of the leather or imitation headband. This is in fact the remnant of a practice that has been abandoned by other beret manufacturers.

Bonjour,le beret en 8,5 pouces est un très petit béret mais pour adulte. Nous le faisons pour certain client qui souhaite un petit beret. Il peut aussi s'adapter au enfant mais il est bien fait pour les adultes car nous le vendons pour des clients en boutique. Par contre; il ne faut pas s'attendre à avoir un beret large mais plus un beret style militaire.CordialementTraclet
