Large Panama hat
Ideal for protection from the sun, but also for large ceremonies.
This natural-colored women's capeline has a very pleasing shape, with a 15-16 cm brim for protection from the sun.
The ribbon is black, but it's removable and can be replaced by fancy ribbons that will give your panama a distinctive, sophisticated look: perfect for a country wedding!
Capeline care tips:
As this hat is handmade, sizes may vary slightly from those shown, so we advise you to let us know your actual measured head size to ensure a perfect fit.
Please note that this capeline is not foldable. Panama hats are often referred to as hard-wearing and foldable, but real professionals will warn you. In fact, under our latitudes, panama hats are made from a natural, living fiber that needs a humid environment to remain supple, so don't let them dry out (on the back of the car, that's a no-no).
In addition, the capeline's specific shapes are primed, so if you roll or crush it, you'll lose its shape. It is possible, however, to correct a deformed hat with an iron and wet paste. But it's a delicate operation.
Stains can be treated with baby wipes or terre de Sommières.

Magnifique forme, paille fine et très bien tissée. Du plus bel effet ! Le ruban noir peut être décollé et remplacé par un bandeau plus coloré (voir Courtois).
