Some tips on the boater hat
The French boater hat is traditionally made of straw, giving it a very rigid structure. Moreover, it's a hat that doesn't sink down like a classic hat because its crown is shallow, although it sits better than an Olney boater which is often just perched on top of the head. Finally, this boater model doesn't have an interior comfort band. The head reducer is therefore essential to make it more comfortable and secure it well on the head (not provided with the boater).
