Some advice about the boater hat
The French boater hat is traditionally made of straw, which gives it a very rigid structure. Moreover, it's a hat that doesn't sink down like a classic hat because its crown is shallow, even though it fits better than an Olney boater which is often just placed on top of the head. Finally, this boater model doesn't have an interior comfort band. The head size reducer is therefore essential to make it more comfortable and secure it properly on the head (not supplied with the boater).
