Diplomat hat 1920s - Homburg
The homburg is a stiff hat with a crease running the length of the crown and no pinching on the front, while the Homburg has a sharply raised brim all the way round. Homburgs are typically made from wool felt or hair with a coarse grain and an optional feather .
The homburg hat was popularized by Edward VII after he visited Germany and brought back a hat of this model. It is one of the oldest hats and was worn by many politicians and diplomats in the mid-twentieth century .The "godfather" hat is also mentioned, it was popular in many legendary bandit and mafia movies made in Hollywood .
The biggest names in Hip Hop. This form of head cover was brought back in the late 90s and is still popular with many of today's musicians and artists.

Cela valait le coup d'attendre ( 4 semaines), car le chapeau est d'une qualité exceptionnelle, fabriqué artisanalement à la main par une entreprise reconnue depuis le milieu du XIXè siècle, un très grand confort apporté par un bandeau en cuir intérieur , une doublure intérieure en soie bref que du grand luxe ! et le tout emballé dans deux cartons et avec le plus grand soin. Vraiment je ne regrette pas cet achat.
