Tips for cleaning your baseball cap:

Here are some tips for cleaning your baseball cap:

  • Cleaning the grosgrain: Wet a washcloth or cloth with cold water and a little ammonia or similar product in the headband. Gently rub the grosgrain with the washing cloth, working on sweat stains. Rinse the band with clean water and let it dry.
  • Dust cleaning: Use a strip of tape to remove lint or pet hair. Wrap the tape around your hand with the sticky side out and pat the baseball cap. If there's a layer of dust or dirt covering the cap, spray it with water then gently rub the surface of the crown and visor with a cloth. Spray lightly and evenly again. Let it dry at room temperature.
  • Cleaning the visor: If there's a stain on the brim, wash with cold water and rub the stain with a cloth. If that doesn't work, try mixing cold water and ammonia, or a similar product. After rubbing the baseball cap, wash it again with cold water.
