How to clean a straw hat?

A straw hat should be maintained to keep it in good condition. It should be brushed regularly to remove dust and impurities that get trapped in the straw. For stains, you can use a special cleaning product for straw hats that doesn't damage the material and leaves no chemical residue.

Tips for cleaning a straw hat: 

1. Wipe with a cloth dampened with soapy water (such as Marseille soap) or with a baby wipe.

2. Clean with a cloth previously dipped in water and wrung out.

Note: do not get your straw hat too wet as this may cause the straw to brown and the hat to shrink.
