Hats - Some tips for preserving them

1. Never place your hat flat on a surface. This could eventually misshape the brim of your hat. It's better to turn it upside down, or even better, use a hatbox designed for this purpose.

2. To clean a hat
- straw: wipe it with a clean, damp cloth.
- felt, use a soft brush always going counterclockwise. Avoid all liquid cleaners and never put your hat in the washing machine. For a complete cleaning, please send it to us. Repeat as often as necessary. Additionally, to restore the felt, you can boil a pot of hot water to create steam, which will bring the hat's fur back to its original state.

3. Never leave your hat near a radiator Like perspiration, heat can shrink the hat's inner comfort band. It is recommended to keep your headwear away from lamps or radiators. Also avoid placing it on the rear shelf of your vehicle.

4. Protect your hat from moisture If your hat has been used in the rain, we advise you to turn the inner comfort band inside out and let it dry without being in contact with the hat. Also avoid leaving your wet hat lying flat, as it would become misshapen.

5. Air out your inner comfort band To do this, regularly turn it outwards to allow it to dry when the hat is not in use.

6. Hold your hat by the front or back brim Avoid grabbing it by the crown as much as possible, as this damages it very quickly.
