This beret model was manufactured before the industrialization of berets until the early 20th century.
This headwear was abandoned because it is very delicate to mass-produce due to the fact that it is impossible to store it between manufacturing stages without causing unsightly wrinkles and marks.
Only Manufacture de Bérets offers this model; it's a real shame because it is extremely comfortable to wear and above all, the size adjustment is done by means of a "string" passed through the hem of the beret.
How to adjust your beret to your head size
