This beret model was manufactured before the industrialization of berets until the early 20th century.
This headwear was abandoned because it is very delicate to manufacture in series due to the fact that it is impossible to store it between manufacturing steps without causing unsightly creases and marks.
Only the Beret Manufacture offers this model; it's a shame because it is extremely comfortable to wear and above all; the size adjustment is done by means of a "string" passed through the hem of the beret.
How to adjust your beret to your head size
To adjust the universal beret; simply tighten or loosen the string and tie a knot. You have certainly noticed a small knot sewn on the leather or faux leather head circumferences. This is actually a remnant of this practice that has been abandoned by other beret manufacturers.
