In the past, the umbrella fabric was made of heavy cotton and had to be exposed to rain once or twice to become completely waterproof. Only then was the umbrella ready to face the changing weather of the Pyrenees, combining rain, sun, wind, thunder... Its size allows it to perfectly play its role as a host. It is the high-end umbrella par excellence.
A true work of art, it is now in museums but it is above all a valuable object, not to say a luxury item.
