History of the Dekker hat name:
Its name comes from the ska genius Desmond Dekker also known as the 'King of SKA'. Desmond Dekker, whose real name was Desmond Adolphus Dacres, was a reggae and ska singer and songwriter. He often wore the wool monty beret but also the trilby hat with very small brims like the Dekker.
