The Nylamtium (170g/m² double thickness) that makes up the hat is crafted from a Supplex nylon fabric that is snag-proof, very durable, water-repellent, lightweight, and quick-drying. It's a hat guaranteed for life against wear! The remarkable lightness of this hat combined with a 3/4 inch ventilation mesh on top of the crown offers you great comfort in hot weather and protects you from heat stroke! Moreover, this Tilley LTM6 hat, like other Tilley hats, has a maximum sun protection factor of UPF 50+.

There should be enough space between the front of the hat and your forehead to easily slip two fingers in. Similarly, you should be able to pivot the hat from left to right and tilt it from front to back without feeling any friction on your forehead.
