- With this type of hat, you should avoid letting it come into contact with rain. Indeed, as the straw is very absorbent, once dry, it may show stains and weaken the hat.
- Avoid leaving the hat for too long in a hot, dry, and unventilated place, as a straw hat needs some moisture to stay in good condition. Otherwise, the straw can become brittle.
- Avoid at all costs PINCHING the top of the hat when putting it on or taking it off. Use the appropriate gesture to handle it: hold it by the brim when putting it on or taking it off.
