First of all, the UPF 50+ Sun Protection Factor is Certified to EN 13758-1 Standard and AS/NZS 4399 Standard (Australian and New Zealand standard)
All components of Soway hats (white and beige) are purchased and manufactured in France: material purchased and developed in France, ribbons, fabrics... Then each hat is assembled in Portugal.
The brims are lined with fabric to prevent glare and have anti-UV foam. The hats thus meet all the criteria for very high sun protection recommended by Dermatology.
